Gluten FreeLow Carb

This keto berry cobbler with blackberries and blueberries is an easy and delicious comfort food dish. Made with almond flour it is low carb and gluten free deliciousness in a bowl!

Initially this was going to be just blackberries, but I didn't have enough for a complete dish, so I threw in a punnet of plump blueberries. It worked out beautifully and have made this exactly the same again, but you could also use other berries for this dish.

Mixed Keto Berry Cobbler

This is perfect comfort food. I made this berry cobbler on a rainy Sunday afternoon in the UK, and the Chief Taster was lucky to be left any once I tasted it. One tablespoon of the delicious berries with the almond topping hit the right notes and I reached for a larger spoon under the guise of "research taste testing". Then had to stop myself before the Chief Taster came home to an empty pie dish and me asleep on the sofa.

How to make berry cobbler

Just a few ingredients are needed to make a low carb cobbler.

  • Berries - I used a mix of blueberries & blackberries but any low carb berry will work.
  • The topping is a mix of almond flour, butter, low carb sweetener and eggs. Low carb store cupboard staples that you might have to hand.

This berry cobbler is just superb with a serving of cream. The Chief Taster is very much a pudding man, and this is now a request on a raining, grey day. As it's an easy dish with a handful of ingredients it can appear on our menu quickly.

Another delicious cobbler to try is my strawberry cream cheese cobbler. This is made with strawberries but has dollops of cream cheese in it too for a hint of cheesecake.

How is this low carb. I get 13 net carbs per serving. Am I figuring wrong?

Are you looking at total carbs? That still seems rather high. All of our recipes use a nutritional calculator.

The Blueberry Cobbler is just wonderful- I am Carnivore but husband is Keto. Made this on New Year’s Day for him, but I had a portion too! Amazing and amazingly easy. Such a fabulous pudd, will be a doddle to make for guests, when I usually stress over suitable deserts
    . Thank you 😊

Living in the Pacific Northwest, berries are plentiful in the summer. Have made this many times in the last 2 seasons. My neighbor has a u-pick blueberry field. Made this 2x with just blueberries & now that the blackberries are just coming in this year, made the recipe as written. We just LOVE it and admittedly....have had it for dessert & then for breakfast the next morning, haha!!! Thanks!

You are my hero!! What an awesome, delicious, amazing recipe! I have been trying some different recipes to use our black raspberries from our garden and you nailed it! This cobbler was so yummy....no one would ever know it was low carb. I'm new to keto and I thank you for a well written recipe. I had Truvia sweetener instead of Erythritol so it took me a while to figure out the equivalent which was 3-3/4 teaspoons of Truvia to equal the 1/4 cup Erythritol. I baked at 350 degrees for 25 min and it was perfect! I'm not very experienced in cooking and always need a recipe that doesn't assume I know anything. I will be checking out all your other recipes. Again, thanks!
